finally find a house

Yes, we finally found a house to buy....
in mid 2007, my wife and I went to a housing expo at JCC Jakarta in search of our "perfect house", and then reality struck me; buying a house is sooooooo expensive.... . I couldn't afford most of the houses offered at that expo, oohhh I felt so poor (alhamdulillah, makasih Alllah atas rezekinya, manusia memang tidak pernah puas).

First, we look for houses in sentul area / bogor, its much more affordable for me. we even put down a booking fee of a housing in sentul area, after that we went to the location but very disappointed since the location is still a raw housing site, not a house in sight. so we went back and fortunately the give us back the booking fee (we negotiate before we give them the down payment).

Just before leaving the expo my wife spotted this raffles hills' expo stand, the huge banner indicate a cheaper price than neighboring housing estate, at first I felt it's too expensive for us, but my wife insist, so we go to the location, and we fell in love with the location, we love it even if it is the smallest house in the area, even it's the house is near the jagorawi toll road, even if the new toll road from depok will be just meters from our house, we love it.

So we emptied savings and our pocket (literally), ask loans from our offices and come up with the down payment, then we went to banks to get housing loan (KPR) and Alhamdulillah, they approve our loan and hopefully we become debt free within the next five year....
